Monel 400 is a copper/nickel based alloy that is seawater and steam resistant at the high temperature. Also, it is resistant to the caustic and salt solutions. This material is a solid solution alloy that is hardened by the technique named cold working. This alloy is also exhibiting good weldability, high tensile strength, and good corrosion resistance. Also, it resists hydrofluoric and hydrochloric acid when de-aerated.
Monel K500 is the precipitation hardenable copper and nickel based alloy having good corrosion resistance property. Also, it is having greater strength and toughness that is gained by adding titanium and aluminium. It too has a high tendency towards SCC in several atmospheres and is having very good yielding and tensile strength.
Monel WNR 2.4360/2.4375 Round bars/rods are thoroughly quality tested before the shipment. The tests performed are radiography tests, hydrostatic tests, chemical tests, PMI tests and so on.
